Investing for Good: Getting to know our partners in the sector

OSII was again proud to partner with the NSW Council of Social Services (NCOSS) to present the Investing for Good (I4G) Conference.

In its second year, the I4G conference was arranged around three different streams: Sector Preparedness, Government, and The Future. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from keynote speaker, David Carrington, listen to panel discussions and case studies, and hear pitches from innovative social impact organisations.

It was a wonderful chance for the OSII team to meet with our colleagues in the sector. We had lively discussions about our work at our booth in the marketplace while our representatives participated in nuanced debate about the future of impact investment at panel events.
Being able to connect with a wide range of people and discuss the work we do is a priority of ours at OSII. In addition, to participating in sector conferences like I4G, we are also holding capacity building workshops at our office in Sydney and are investigating how we can better connect with our regional counterparts.

We are always looking for ways we can help build the capacity and preparedness of market participants, grow the market and promote understanding across and about the social impact investment market.
