NSW Government opens a 2nd request for social impact investment proposals
As part of the Social Impact Investment Policy, the NSW Government is again calling for social impact investment proposals to deliver better social and financial outcomes for individuals and communities.
The request for proposals (RFP) identifies two preferred policy areas for this round:
- managing chronic health conditions
- managing mental health hospitalisations.
The RFP is also open to proposals in other policy areas, though these will need to meet evaluation criteria to a very high standard.
The RFP closes at 9am on 15 February 2016. You can access the RFP documents and more information through NSW e-tendering. You will need to register with e-tendering to download the documents. Proposals must also be lodged through this site.
This is the second RFP for 2015. The first RFP was held mid-year targeting better outcomes for vulnerable young people and reduced parolee reoffending. Two proponents (one in each policy area) were selected to proceed to joint development phases, which are now in progress.
