Register for market sounding sessions with the Ministry of Health
Following the first request for proposals (RFP) in June 2015, the NSW Government is now preparing for a second RFP in late 2015 or early 2016, focused on:
- managing chronic health conditions
- managing mental health hospitalisations.
The Ministry of Health is hosting two market sounding sessions for interested providers, intermediaries, and potential investors to learn more.
Date
7 October 2015
Venue
NSW Ministry of Health
73 Miller Street, North Sydney
Time
10am-12pm: Managing mental health hospitalisations
2pm-4pm: Managing chronic health conditions
RSVP
Email Dani Fried by 30 September 2015.
About the sessions
The sessions will explain what is expected in proposals, particularly from a Health perspective, and the process to evaluate proposals. One topic of discussion will be the joint development phase, where the government and proponent work together to develop financial instruments and service arrangements.
There are two key target populations:
- people with chronic health conditions
- people who are currently inpatients or at risk of admission with mental illness.
NSW Health is seeking market feedback on the opportunity to participate, including your initial thoughts on:
- the practicality of providing services to the target populations
- particular target population/s you are interested in
- key sensitivities and risks from your perspective
- concerns about availability of information
- other initial thoughts or observations that should be considered at this early market sounding stage.
