Impact Investing Australia launches 2015 Australian Impact Investor Survey
Investors are invited to participate in Australia's inaugural Impact Investor Survey, conducted by Impact Investing Australia.
The 2015 survey is the first of its kind in Australia, and will provide critical insights and data to help grow the opportunities for investments that deliver positive social or environmental impacts in addition to a financial return.
The survey aims to uncover current impact investing activity already happening across investor groups, as well as demonstrate the demand for and areas of growth in impact investment.
It will help us understand the motivations, intentions and barriers encountered by investors participating in impact investing, and reveal the awareness and interest in impact investing from investors who are not currently making impact investments.
Impact investing is growing globally with impact investments being made across the world and in a range of sectors. The world's largest impact investors have committed $US12.2 billion to impact investing in 2015. The survey is an important mechanism for capturing - and tracking over time - the activity, size and perspectives of the market operating in and from Australia.
The survey closes on Friday 2 October 2015. All survey participants will receive a copy of the final report and invitation to a briefing session to share findings before the public release of the final report in late 2015 or early 2016.
Impact Investing Australia is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2014 to develop the market for impact investing in Australia and deliver better outcomes for society.
