OSII has recently changed its approach to Request for Proposals (RFP), which will be now solely focused on a priority issue area.
OSII has re-designed how social impact investment (SII) ideas outside our specific RFP policy and service areas are considered.
OSII is trialling a new initiative in 2018, enabling proponents and government to co-develop SII ideas in any policy area. The new program – SII Evolve – is a complementary stream to OSII’s issue-specific RFP process and allows the non-government sector to approach OSII with innovative ideas.
SII Evolve will provide rapid feedback and help progress high potential SII ideas to proposals. OSII will test, design and progress proposals collaboratively with organisations and the relevant government agency, before proceeding to the formal approval phases.
SII Evolve seeks to provide a collaborative and supportive environment to develop SII proposals that align with government priorities and inform future areas to target that will improve lives of vulnerable people in NSW.
