The NSW Government is re-opening the Request for Proposals (RFP) in mid-July, focused on youth unemployment. The NSW Government has committed $10 million to a social impact investment that targets high need youth in regions of high unemployment.
OSII also welcomes proposals in other social and environmental policy areas during the RFP.
To help the sector prepare proposals, OSII will hold a market briefing on the RFP, as well as some ‘how-to’ sessions on submitting social impact investment proposals.
There are two sessions – Market Briefing and Capacity Building.
- Market Briefing – (9 am – 10 am)
- Preparing the market – (10 am – 12 pm)
These sessions will cover:
- What are social impact investments and how might they be valuable to me (Market Briefing)
- The new social impact investment opportunity in youth unemployment (Market Briefing)
- Developing a strong program logic and outcomes measurement (Preparing the market)
- Developing the value proposition (including financial viability and risk sharing) (Preparing the market)
